Standard Definition:
EN16120 is a special safety specification for portable child restraint seats,the current latest version of EN16120: 2012, in line with the EU GPSD 2001\/ 951/ EC directive requirements. It applies to non-motor vehicle children's seats installed on ordinary aduIt seats and does not apply to motor vehicle-specific safety seats, and is the core compliance standard for the EU market.
Testing and certification requirements:

Material safety: the material in contact with food area meets the requirements of food contact grade, coating lead 90 ppm, phthalate sum 0.1%;
Identification requirements: affixed with a permanent warning label, clearly "use must be tied to the restraint belt" (font 4mm), with installation instructions and applicable age range. Meeting the requirements of this standard is a sine qua non condition for the product to be allowed to enter the EU market.
