Standard Definition:

EN16120 is a special safety specification for portable child restraint seats,the current latest version of EN16120: 2012, in line with the EU GPSD 2001\/ 951/ EC directive requirements. It applies to non-motor vehicle children's seats installed on ordinary aduIt seats and does not apply to motor vehicle-specific safety seats, and is the core compliance standard for the EU market.

Testing and certification requirements：

The product needs tobe fully tested by an EU-recognized third-party laboratory as the basis for CE certification.The core requirements are as follows:

structural safety: the whole machine is tilted at 10°C without dumping, the seats can withstand 50 kg static pressure without deformation, therupture strength of the restraint band is  300N;Anti-jamming and anti-detachment seat openings need to pass 6cm sphere test, adjustable parts locked to withstand 100 N tensionwithout loosening, no sharp edge,

Material safety: the material in contact with food area meets the requirements of food contact grade, coating lead  90 ppm, phthalate sum  0.1%;

Identification requirements: affixed with a permanent warning label, clearly "use must be tied to the restraint belt" (font  4mm), with installation instructions and applicable age range. Meeting the requirements of this standard is a sine qua non condition for the product to be allowed to enter the EU market.
