Current Version: ASTM F2085-19 (replaces the previous version ASTM F2085-12, which has been incorporated into 16 CFR Part1224 by the CPSC).
Applicable Scope: Designed specifically for children aged 2-5 who can climb up and down independently, removable and install able on an adult bed side/mattress surface.
Excluded Scope: Bed railings, integrated with the bed frame/embedded fixtures, head/foot rails.

Physical Safety: Gap 5mm or 12mm; withstands 22.7kg static load without failure; no sharp edges, easily detachable small parts; displacement s14mm under 133N lateral force.
Chemical Safety: Total lead in contactable components s100ppm, coating lead s90ppm; 8 phthalatess0.1%.
Mandatory Labeling: Markings for manufacturer, applicable age range, ASTM F2085-19, and safety warnings; instructions include installation and compatibility requirements.
